Pat Roberts
It
all began with a desire to be part of her children's wedding
day by supplying the cake but Pat Roberts' hobby soon became her
career. Having taken lessons locally in basic cake
decorating, she then searched for more advanced classes and found
Geraldine Randelsome
in Toronto, author of several cake
decorating books. Pat traveled to
Toronto
to study with her in a "cold porcelain"
workshop, and then
completied two more
courses in Basic & Australian Sugarpaste. The skills she
acquired there helped her hone her craft and develop her designing
techniques.
Today Pat continues her growth as a cake
designer, and recently completed
another weeklong workshop with famed designer
Bonnie Gordon in Toronto.
She enjoys working with couples to
design a unique cake/centrepiece for
their most memorable day. Pat also
delights in creating birthday cakes
which reflect each individual's hobby,
occupation or passion to make them truly
personal.

Watch for our display cakes at local
